Patients

Who We Serve
The Lite Run system is targeted to the more than 2.5 million people in the U.S. who annually require physical therapy to restore mobility – called “gait training” – to recover from an injury or disability.

The technology also has application for the 30 million long-term disabled population, providing therapeutic benefits to those who may never walk independently. Finally, as the Baby Boomer generation ages, the current $20 billion rehabilitation industry is expected to more than double by 2030.

In addition to providing safe and comfortable therapy for patients, the Lite Run system was designed to substantially lighten the burden on physical therapists. The Lite Run system greatly reduces a therapist’s need to lift or transfer a patient. The system also frees the therapist to focus on a patient’s gait therapy, since the patient is secure in the system.

How We Help
Lite Run’s unique and patented unweighting and sit-to-stand technology supports earlier therapy, which can lead to better patient outcomes, while providing a high degree of safety from falls or other incidents. The system is comfortable for patients during extended therapy sessions, which can lead to earlier recoveries.

The Lite Run system has received positive feedback from patients and physical therapists. Patients rated it highly for security and comfort; therapists rated it highly in reducing therapist burden, and in ease of use.
